Play GO with Me

Here's the next board for the Play with me QAL (you have to actually make the boards to actually get the next patter, but they are great skill builders and fun to do.  See http://alidatweloqdesigns.blogspot.com/p/play-with-me-qal.html

Here's my April board:
It's a GO board (and no, I don't know how to play--guess I'll have to read the instructions and give it a try!)

Judie Rothermel's new line due 1 July 2016 Aunt Grace

Too much fun.  Judie's new line includes a 30s version of a print she did in ca. 2003--I love both version (and both colorways!):
 19th Century type

30s version in blue

30s version in pink
It will be soooo hard to wait for this one!

19th Century eye candy for your pleasure (L-N) & special news about Pat Speth!!

Before I post some 'real' conversationals from Victorian days, just had to tell you about Pat Speth's YouTube tutorial--wonderful quilt but note all the 19th Century repro conversationals--I was drooling! Here's here note about the tutorial:

and here's the link to the video:

Now for today's selection--not sure if these have all been posted or not (I got lazy about moving those that I'd posted...oops)

I have a feeling these are all duplicates from previous (sorry)--more next week

I scored over a meter or Judie Rothermel's Classic Conversationals 'cheater' this week (from Canada)--very expensive but worth every penny! Just wish I have 5" squares of them all to make Pat's quilt!

Testing a pattern for Jessica Smith again--TAWL

To Africa With Love pattern is from the blocks Jess taught on a recent trip to Africa.  I'll be posting fabrics and blocks throughout the weekend (adding to this post).  I decided to go with Art Deco  "Lavish" in Charcoal color-way and black background.

 Installment 3
close up of Dutchman so you can see new fabric I added (same print as my favorite in Lavish but in 'shadow' rather than 'charcoal')

top without borders, nice little easy sampler--it's all about the fabric!
